17

The Pirates lost their 82nd game of the season and secured their place in history with their 17th consecutive year of under .500 baseball.

The Bucs only managed two hits in the lost, by Moss and LaRoche. Nothing too much to talk about here. I guess it is good just to get it out of the way.

With the loss the Pirates are 54-82.

Danny McCutchen took the loss going seven innings and giving up four runs. Two homers to Derek Lee. Not a bad start for Danny.

Tough year, it is winding down.

Go Bucs.
