Minnesota Wild

7:30 PM, Mellon Arena, Pittsburgh, PA
The Penguins are coming off a huge win last night in Minnesota. Alex Goligoski tied the game with around two minutes to play and Bing scored the only goal in the shootout to win it for the Penguins. They are 11-2-0.
If the Penguins gain a point tonight they will hold the record for the most points to open up a season.
The Penguins (11-2-0) are tied with Colorado for the league lead with 22 points, matching Detroit (1997, 2001 and 2005), the New York Islanders (1982), New York Rangers (1990) and St. Louis (1997) for the best opening month in NHL history.
The Pens also eclipsed their previous best of 18 points set in 1992.
Colorado is idle tonight so with a point the Penguins will set an all time NHL mark.
The Penguins will look to go with this lineup tonight via the Penguins website:
Forwards
Kunitz-Crosby-Guerin
Bourque-Staal-Fedotenko
Cooke-Adams-Dupuis
Conner-Rupp-Godard
Defense
Orpik-Letang
Eaton-Skoula
McKee-Goligoski
Netminder
Fleury
Tyler Kennedy is back on the ice practicing but it does not look like he will participate.
Petr Sykora will be back for the Minnesota Wild. It looked like he was going to be a scratch but he scored the first Wild goal last night in their 3-2 win over the NY Rangers last night.
Here is what the Wild will probably go with tonight:
Forwards
Brunette-Koivu-Miettinen
Sykora-Belanger-Havlat
Kobasew-Brodziak-Clutterbuck
Boogaard-Sheppard-Nolan
Defense
Schultz-Zidlicky
Burns-Zanon
Hnidy-Scott
Netminder
Backstrom
