Anaheim Might Ducks
10:00 PM, Honda Center, Anaheim, CA
Penguins play against Ryan Whitney and Erik Christensen and Chris Kunitz will be back on the ice at Anaheim against his former team. Should be a good game to start the West Coast swing.
The Penguins go into the game against a pretty good Ducks team that is right now although they are only 4-6-2 overall and are sitting at the bottom of the Pacific Division.
Make no mistake, this team can play. They have the likes of Corey Perry, Ryan Getzlaf, Jonas Hiller, Bobby Ryan, Ryan Whitney, and more. This is a dangerous team, not a bad one so the Penguins will have their work cut out for them.
The Penguins also do not have history on their side as they are a combined Pittsburgh is 1-11-3 with a tie since Jan. 16, 1999, at Anaheim (4-6-2), Los Angeles and San Jose where they play their next three games.
Do I expect this to be a bad three game swing? No. San Jose is legit. Anaheim has a lot of talent and LA is kinda meh.
The Penguins will be playing against some players that were part of the Stanley Cup run. Remember Scuds plays for LA. It will be very wierd seeing those players in different uniforms against the Penguins.
Here is what the Penguins Site has as the Penguins lineups for tonight's contest:
No lines for the Ducks from what I can see.
