Penguins Game Day 29 - vs. Colorado Avalanche
The Penguins are not really good at Colorado. They only have two wins in 19 meetings with Colorado since they made the move to Denver. Blah.
The Avalanche got off to an incredible start going 12-3-2 in their first 17 games and they come in to tonight's game with a 15-8-6 overall record. They are coming off a 6-5 SO loss to the Florida Panthers. They are coming off 65 minutes of hockey and a plane flight to Pittsburgh. The Penguins have to take advantage of this early and jump out in front.
Paul Stastny is the leading point getter for Colorado with 30 points (7+30) and Milan Hejduk leads the team in goals with 11. Hejduk is listed as day-to-day with a knee injury.
Goaltender Craig Anderson has 14 wins in net but will most likely sit down tonight in favor of backup netminder Peter Budaj who has one win and a 4.28 GAA.

Man when can we trade this guy?
Speaking of trades it seems that Tenko and Kunitz is going to get traded for some guys on the Kings. Imagine that. Eklund has a tip on a Pens/Kings trade. This is kinda like Christmas when you were a kid and you wanted that pony. You knew you weren't going to get a pony but there was that small sense that it might happen. Then it was a fail on Christmas morning when you get socks. I want the socks. I don't want the pony.
Did that analogy even make sense?
Here are the lines from the Penguins Website:
Lets get a win.
