Penguins Game Day 30 - vs. Chicago Blackhawks

Chicago Blackhawks

7:30 PM, Mellon Arena, Pittsburgh, PA

The Penguins will welcome a familiar face to Mellon Arena tonight, Marion Hossa. I am sure he will get a warm welcome to lady Mellon for the final time in regular season play.

Just found out when I woke up this morning that Sid will not take to the ice against the Blackhawks today. He has a problem with his groin, probably from dominating the NHL for the past two weeks.

That might take some of the luster off this game but that't ok, we still have the best team in the NHL on the ice. This team just isn't Crosby as we have found out many times before this season.

Remember this?

The Blackhawks signed their whole team to a 12 year deal the other day. Who cares. This is going to be a great game. I am stoked to watch this.
Here is the beginning of my post.

The lines look like this from the Penguins site:

Forwards
Talbot-Malkin-Guerin
Dupuis-Staal-Fedotenko
Cooke-Letestu-Kennedy
Rupp-Adams-Godard

Defense
Gonchar-Orpik
McKee-Letang
Eaton-Skoula

Netminder
Fleury

Obviously Crosby is not going to play but there isn't much said about how that will affect the lines for the game. Mark Letestu has been called up to replace Crosby in the lineup. My guess is Malkin slides up and plays on the first line and Staal moves up to the second line.

These are lines I tinkered with so take nothing at value from them.

Lets get a win.

Lets Go Pens
