Penguins Game Day 58 - @ Montreal Canadians

Montreal Canadians

2:00 PM, Bell Centre, Montreal

It feels like the Penguins haven't played in like 20 years. It has only been a few days but it feels like forever. Don't worry though the Penguins play like two games in five hours. The Penguins play at 2 PM in Canada then have to fly to DC to play the Cap at 12 noon tomorrow. What a night. Guess it doesn't help that 1993 2.0 has hit the east coast.

The lines look like they were picked out of a hat. I think I actually read somewhere where Skoula might play on the fourth line. Can't do much worse there than his blueline play as of late (ZING).

Here are the lineups from Penguins.com

Forwards
Fedotenko-Crosby-Guerin
Dupuis-Staal-Malkin
Cooke-Adams-Kennedy
Rupp-Adams-Letestu

Defense
Gonchar-Orpik
Eaton-Letang
McKee-Goligoski

Netminder
Fleury

The Penguins look to sweep the season series from the Habs for only the third time, ever.

The first win for the Pengins came October 28 when the Penguins beat the Habs 6-1 at the Igloo:

The next Penguins win was again at the Igloo and was a 3-1 victory on November 25:

The Penguins then went to the Bell Centre and brought home a 3-2 come from behind win on December 10:

Hopefully the Penguins can shake some rust off (if they have any) and get another two points as the Senators and Capitals are as hot as your oven and the Devils won last night over Toronto.

Here is what the stat comparison looks like:

Do it
