Penguins Game Day 67 - @ Carolina Hurricanes

Carolina Hurricanes

7:00 PM, RBC Center, Raleigh, NC

The Penguins are back after what seems like a 40 day layoff. For real, with as many games as they play down the stretch they couldn't throw a game in yesterday to break it up a little more rather than taking four days off? Who knows.

Matt Cooke didn't get suspended. Who cares. Bettman loves the Penguins so I don't know what someone would be surprised about that. I mean we pay him off and all.

Here are the probable lineups from the Penguins web site:

Forwards
Kunitz-Crosby-Guerin
Ponikarovsky-Malkin-Fedotenko
Cooke-Staal-Dupuis
Rupp-Talbot-Adams

Defense
Gonchar-Eaton
Orpik-Letang
Leopold-Goligoski

Netminder

Johnson

Brent is in net, he needs to get some minutes, TK is going to be a healthy scratch tonight. Who knows.

The Penguins are 1-1 against the Hurricanes this season.

October 14 the Penguins won at the RBC Center 3-2 in overtime:

The Hurricanes came to the Igloo and took a 3-2 win away from the Penguins on December 12:

Here are what the stats look like:

Awesome:

Who can forget the Caaaaaaaaaam Waaaaaaaaard chant?
