Penguins Game Day 13 - @ Dallas Stars

Dallas Stars

8:30 p.m., American Airlines Center, Dallas, TX

Does it seem like the Penguins play like three games in four night then take about a week and a half off. No idea ho these guys do it, but I guess this kinda play is a double edged sword. At one end it is very easy to sustain some injuries on streaks like this, but then again the Pengins need to get some bodies healthy right now.

Lucky for the Penguins they are starting to get those guys back. Zbynek Michalek is back after missing some time and will be paired up with Brooks Orpik on the first d-pairing tonight. When these two have some time to gel and start to click this is going to be a scary good pairing.

Looks like it will be a game time decision on GoGo and Disco even talked about going with seven d-men for the game tonight, which will almost ceratinly single out Eric Godard. Hard to put Godard in the lineup when you can throw Derek Engelland out there. Engelland is just a brawler out there and makes some of the best in the game go down. If he doesn't get in a fight then he probably isn't on the ice. Real talk.

Geno is also back in the lineup and after playing on the wing for much of the season it looks as if he will be moving back to his natural center position to play some hockey tonight.

Duper will not be in the lineup tonight because his wife gave birth today to their fourth child, Lola Dupuis, earlier today. Word is Dupuis only made it into the hospital eight minutes before she gave birth. Unreal. Talk about being clutch.

Clutch is what the Penguins need some of. I guess clutch might not be the best work, but they desperatly need some secondary scoring.  Besides Bing and Geno there is little goal production going on in the top six. Not a good thing.

Three games in four nights on the west coast. Buckle up.
