Penguins Game Day 39 - @ New York Islanders

New York Islanders

7:00 p.m., CONSOL Energy Center, Pittsburgh, PA

7:00 p.m., Nassau Coliseum, Long Island, NY

HUGE mistake on my part. Thought the game was at CONSOL. Obviously not. Whatev.

Big win and another dominating performance from Bing last night. He now has 32 goals in 37 games. I know 50 in 50 is probably not going to happen but there hasn't been anyone remotely close to that in a long time. A couple of hatty's and this can become reality.

The Islanders were thought to be a lot better team this year. Not so much. John Tavares is the real deal but he only has 21 points (10+11) while Bing has 32 goals. Man.

Looks like Brent Johnson is going to be backing up MAF tonight. John Curry was sent down. Interesting to have MAF go on back-to-back nights but who cares. He has been lights out for a long time now and with the Flyers playing as well as they have been we need every point, plus the Penguins don't play again until the Winter Classic on Saturday (or possibly Sunday).

What a goal by Mark Letestu last night. Holy hell.
