Penguins Game Day 30 - vs. Toronto Maple Leafs

Toronto Maple Leafs

7:00 p.m., CONSOL Energy Center, Pittsburgh, PA

Um, so, the Penguins eh?

I mean I feel like I have been saying the same stuff every single game for the last four of five games but really what is there to say? Should I complain about MAF letting in a goal? Should I be disapointed that Bing ONLY has a two point night? Should I expect more from the third line? Doubtful.

What I haven't talked about much during the streak is how unreal the defense has been. The top four have been pretty unreal and even the GoGo/Engelland pairing has been good as of late. Michalek is unreal. Just unreal.

Really good read from James Mirtle from The Globe on Dupers and Kunitz and how they deal with Bing. Really, really good read.

Seems like every team we play now has a piece of the Chicago Blackhawks. Tonight, Kris Versteeg.

$10 Steigy talks about Armstrong being Bing's best bud within the first 10 minutes of the game.

Geno is out. Not good.

Brian Burke is still the President and GM of the Maple Leafs. Real good.
