Penguins Game Day 32 - @ Philadelphia Flyers

 Philadelphia Flyers

7:00 p.m., Wachovia Center, Philadelphia, PA

During the Penguins 12 game streak they have been playing some good teams and some really bad teams. Althought they have earned 29 of a possible 30 points in the last 15 games but yet are only one point up on Philadelphia.

As bad as I hate to admit this the Flyers have been really good all season and this will, by far, be the toughest test for the Penguins during this streak of both points and wins.

Luckily we have Sidney Crosby on our team. He is really good at hockey.

I can't wait to hear the Flyer fans chant "Crosby Sucks" and then hear the subsequent boos when he scores four goals.

MAF has been pretty good lately. He has givin up two or less goals in his last nine contests. MAF has played against the Flyers twice this season, losing both games 3-2. Lets change that.

Lets make sure we get things straight, a win or a loss here doesn't mean much more than a win against any other team. Would it be great because it is against Philadelphia? Sure. Any time we get a win against a scum team from Philadelphia it would be nice. Would it be nice to pick up two more points on the Flyers? Yea, it would. Would it be great to extend the streak? Hell yea.

The matter of fact is that it is December. One win isn't winning you a playoff round and one loss doesn't mean the sky is falling. Take it at face value.
Geno and Kunitz are game time decisions. Geno actually said he was going to play and I can't see Kunitz missing since he did skate with a line at practice.

Should be a great atmosphere and a great game. Thank God VS. won't give us a pregame show. I can't wait to watch Big Game Hunters or the 1956 Indy 500 before the game.

  1. Tonight's game was a good one with Evgeni Malkin back in the lineup. Too bad he took that bad that 3rd pd. penalty. Looks like this season is going to go down to the wire.

Can't wait till the Pens take it out on the Caps!
