New York Rangers
Well that sucked, didn't it? The Flyers have now taken the first game at the CONSOL and now broke a 12 game losing streak. What ever is this team going to do? Oh, it was only December 14th? Really? Oh, well then what are some people freaking out for?
Great question. Don't act like they were never going to lose again.
Last night we saw how big Chris Kunitz is and what he means to that first line. A lot of people take him for granted but he might be the biggest reason for how well Sidney Crosby has been playing (except for, you know, Bing being amazing and all). He is still day-to-day and looks as if he will be a game time decision.
If Kunitz can't go then Geno Malkin will be on the first line again. He looked really good last night, even in teh first period when the Penguins were far from impressive. He scored two power play goals and looked to have that jump back in his step. I know it was the first time he was back on the ice in some time but if he can continue playing at that level the Penguins are going to be looking real good.
Thank God we are back on FSN. Versus was so bad last night. I know ESPN doesn't give the NHL a ton of love but the NHL needs ESPN in the worst way.
Brandon Dubinsky is a tool.
Sean Avery is a douche.
