New Jersey Devils
7:00 p.m., Prudential Center, Newark, NJ
Going into 'The Rock' tonight the Penguins will be without two of their top guns tonight as Bing is still on the shelf as well as Geno taking some time off for a bum knee.
Luckily the Penguins are going into Newark where the Devils have been just downright awful this season. After last season where the Devils won the Atlantic Division they are now dead last in the league in wins, points and goal differential.
Last off season there was the Ilya Kovalchuk saga and after the Devils finally signed him they thought they might have one last run with Marty in net. Well Kovaljoke only has 26 points (13+13) and Marty is floating with an .890 save percentage.
Zach Parise might be my favorite non-Penguin.
With both of the Penguins top guns on the mend it would be huge for the Penguins to pick up as many points as possible. Any team can truely win on any given night so hopefully the Penguins can start fast and just the big win and keep pace with Philadelphia.
