New York Islanders
7:00 p.m., Nassau Coliseum, Long Island, NY
What a win last night. DJ was hurt and so was half of the other team. After DJ went out there were 11 forwards on the ice at any given time for the Penguins and six of them were AHL call-ups. It wasn't pretty, it wasn't flashy, but it got the job done and got a huge two points. What a win.
Marc-Andre Fleury has just been unreal. Might be the best goaltender in the league. If he isn't in the top three in your mind then you haven't watched hockey this season.
Tangradi got the call up. Hopefully nobody else gets hurt tonight.
This is the start of a huge four game road swing which the Penguins will face the Islanders, Rangers, Avalanche and Blackhawks. Hopefully the team starts to get healthy, but with the way things are going that seems to be a lot to ask for.
