Carolina Hurricanes
7:00 p.m., RBC Center, Raleigh, NC
Welcome back Alexei Kovalev. Sure, it has been a while since you have been riding with the big boys in a winning program but we are happy to have you back here in Pittsburgh. Score a few goals and you will be treated like a king. I know you already picked the number 72, but if you could switch it to 27 or 47 that would make a lot of people happy.
Dustin Jeffery is back in action. Mark Letestu is rumored to be back so also as he was doing some skating with the fourth line according to Seth and Dave Molinari.
Disco was on the the mic today and said that AK72 will be going with Staal and Neal tonight against the Hurricanes. That should be pretty interesting to watch. AK is also going to be the ponit on the power play since the Penguins are only going to employ one defenseman on the power play. The main power play unit tonight will consist of AK72, Staal, Neal, Letang and Kennedy.
Brian Strait was called up and will take the place of Brooks Orpik.
If you missed it last night I had a great convo with Joe Depto of The Fourth Period mag. Take a listen to it here for some good Pens stuff.
