Game 82 Recap - Pirates 5, Nationals 3

The Pitates used a strong start from James McDonald and back to back home runs from Garret Jones and Andrew McCutchen to defeat the Washington Nationals 5-3 in the first game of a double header on Saturday afternoon.

Really solid game from JMac as he went 6.1 innings and scattered seven hits while striking out seven and getting out of a few jams in the meantime. I'd JMac continues this the Pitates will be in good shape going forward.

The offense generated ten his and got two huge home runs in the eighth to break the tie. Jones had three his to go along with a huge home run while rookie Alex Presley also had three hits to continue his hot streak since being called up before the Toronto series.

A huge second game for the Pitates coming up. I will be put tonight so I will touch more on the games tomorrow morning.
