Ben Roethlisberger: AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Ben Roethlisberger earned his second AFC Offensive Player of the Year award after a great performance in a 25-17 win over the New England Patriots. Roethlisberger was 36-of-50 for 365 yards, two touchdowns and one interceptions.

Big Ben did a great job of spreading the ball around finiding nine different receivers and he targeted 10 of them. His favorite target was tight end Heath Miller who caught seven passes for 85 yards. Roethlisberger also was the leader of five Steelers drives that went 10 plays or more and each of those drives  resulted in Steelers points.

The Steelers converted 23 first downs on Sunday via the pass and went 10-of-16 on third down coversions, mostly through the air due to Roethlisberger. One of those third down conversions found Antonio Brown right before the half:

Roethlisberger won the AFC Offensive Player of the Week award after week four against the Tennesse Titans and also joins Rashard Mendenhall who won the award after a week six win against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
