Baseball America Top-10 Minor League Teams: Pirates High Class A Bradenton

I should have thrown this out earlier but I was so excited for the opening day stuff I totally glossed over it. Today Baseball America released their Top 10 Minor League Teams On Opening Day. The Pirates have been beefing up the minor leagues and they showed up at number five with the High Class A Bradenton Marauders of the Florida State League.

Here is the small writeup from that column by JJ Cooper:

5. High Class A Bradenton Marauders (Florida State League/Pirates)
With RHPs Gerrit Cole (No. 12) and Jameson Taillon (No. 15) headlining, Bradenton will boast the most star-packed rotation in the Florida State League. LHP Colton Cain, who signed for $1.125 million out of the 2009 draft, adds to the millionaire rotation. In the field, 1B Alex Dickerson and OFs Evan Chambers and Mel Rojas Jr. have potential.

Make sure you click on that link and check out the others. If you are a fan of minor league baseball and are in the area of one of those teams then you better get on it.
