Pirates News, Notes and Links

With some free time today I thought I would throw up a few links to things that have been up on the web over the past week or so. Since some of you might be not doing anything today (like me) or you might be somewhere that you need to kill some time (like I do when I go anywhere) I figured this would be helpful.

Pirates/Reds recap from last night [TRBB]

David Brown does a nice Q&A with Andrew McCutchen over at Yahoo [Big League Stew]

Some Reds fans seems to think that Andrew McCtuchen hasn't done anything [Twitter] Have at it guys. Also, this is what a troll looks like.

John Dreker does a great job of breaking down the International Prospects trends for July [Pirates Prospects]

Andrew McCutchen won the NL Player of the Month for July for the second straight month. [Pirates] But hey, what has he done?

Evidently the Phillies wanted a lot for Hunter Pence [Twitter]

Chris Blessing does a nice scouting report of Pirates shortstop prospect Alen Hanson [Bullpen Banter]

Those guys also did a nice job on Gregory Polanco [Bullpen Banter]

Tim Williams got to talk to Josh Bell who has been out since April with a knee injury [Pirates Prospects]

Tim also takes a look at how the August waiver traders work [Pirates Prospects]

If you have any more links that should go up in here please shoot them over my way.
