Notes:

-Cueto is the Reds best. He really can have his ups and downs and when he is down you can really capitalize off him but if he gets settled in then he is nearly impossible to beat. If the Pirates can get to him early they will have a fairly decent chance of winning but that is easier said than done.

-In four starts against the Pirates last season Cueto held Pirates hitters to only a .216 average and gave up only seven earned runs in over 30 innings. He struck out 21 and only walked six.

-Jeff Locke wasn't very good in his first start and needs to be a lot better if he wants to give the team a chance to win. He wasn't terrible but he let way too many guys on base and if you do that against the good Reds lineup he is going to pay. I am not saying he has to be perfect but if the offense can muster up a few runs there is some room to play.
