-Julio Teheran is making his seventh career start tonight and has thrown 37 innings in his short major league career. So far this season he has made two starts and in both he has given up nine earned runs in only 11 innings of work. He has a 8:4 K:BB ratio and has given up 14 hits. In his last outing he went six innings, gave up six hits, and struck out six while walking three in a Braves 6-4 win over Washington.

-The Braves boast one of the best offenses in baseball as they have scored five or more runs eight times and come in with only two losses in 14 games. They have a team line of .254/.324/.458 with 25 home runs and a .203 ISO. They do strike out a good bit (22.3%) but they really make you pay if they put the bat on the ball.

-Jeff Locke goes for the Pirates tonight and it should be intersting to see how he comes after the Braves hitters. Last outing was good and bad for Locke as he earned the win over the Reds but only went five innings while walking four batters and not striking out a batter while scattering four hits.
