Notes:

-Cliff Lee has been the Phillies most consistent starter this year and is coming off his worse outing of the season when he only went five innings and gave up five earned runs and seven hits.

-Last season against the Pirates he made one start where he went six innings and struck out four while giving up only one run on two hits.

-The last two games the Phillies have had a runner on third with no outs and failed to score. That was set up last night by some horrible base running by Jimmy Rollins and the Pirate turned a routine 5-4-2 double play. I don't think you can get away with that all that often so lets try not to have that happen again.

-James McDonald goes today. His last start was his best of the season in a 3-1 win over Atlanta when he went six innings, struck out nine, and only gave up two hits. Hopefully the Pirates get that JMac today and not the one that only went 1.2 innings where he gave up eight hits and just as many runs against the Cardinals.
