Notes:

-Jake Westbrook is coming off a solid quality start in his last outing as he went six innings and gave up three runs while striking out four and giving up seven hits in a Cardinals 7-3 loss to Philadelphia.

-Last season Westbrook faced the Pirates a staggering five times and posted a pretty bad 5.12 ERA as he gave up 19 runs (18 earned) and 42 hits in only 31.2 innings. Hopefully the Pirates can get after him today.

-Burnett is coming off a so-so performance last outing as he went five innings and struck out seven while giving up five hits and two earned runs.

-Will be interesting to see if anyone comes today of what happened last night with Jonathan Sanchez getting thrown out of the game and Lance Lynn not getting thrown after hitting Starling Marte twice.

-Neil Walker will be out for about a week after he had to get some stitches after getting nicked up turning a double play late in the game. I assume it will be Brandon Inge time. Great.
