Penguins Game 68 Recap - Penguins 5, Stars 1

The Penguins got smoked for much of the weekend by the Flyers. They came out on home ice and looked like they were pissed. They also got James Neal and Chris Kunitz back and the first line accounted for four of the five goals in a game that turned into a rout.

Sidney Crosby looked like he was personally offended that the Penguins lost a couple of games and went off for a three point night with two goals and assisting on Lee Stempniak's first goal as a Penguin.

While the Penguins offense was all over the place on offense and putting pucks in the back of the net with some efficiency the unsung star of the night was Jeff Zatkoff. He made 32 saves on the night and while it didn't look like he was too busy he blanked the Stars after they scored the game tying goal early in the first period. The first few games Zatkoff played were pretty rough but he's been really good ever since.

The Stempniak goal was really pretty:

Other than that it was pretty straightforward. Good win against a good Stars team.
